🐎 Closing Out Summer at SWS: Barn & Barrel Racing Updates

It’s been a busy and exciting summer at Southward Stables, and we’re so proud of the progress our horses, riders, and trainers have made over the past few months.

From horse riding lessons to horse training programs and plenty of time spent preparing for shows, our team has been hard at work. As the Summer winds down, we’ve got some exciting updates and announcements to share about lessons, training, boarding, and our amazing riders!

🐴 Southward Riders in the Spotlight

Congratulations to Taylor on her purchase of Freedom! Freedom was in Kayla's training program the past couple of months at Southward.

This pair will be spending the winter working hard to prepare for the 2026 futurity season. We’re excited to watch their progress right here at the barn and see what they accomplish together!

Our Southward Stables team has had an incredible season so far! Riders have been hitting personal best times, showing consistent improvement, and reaching goals they’ve been working toward all year.

We’re so proud to watch each horse-and-rider team grow and achieve new milestones, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings!

✨ Advanced Barrel Racing Lessons with Kayla Ward

Advanced barrel racing lessons are being offered at Southward Stables with Kayla Ward. Kayla brings years of barrel racing experience and is excited to help riders take their skills to the next level.

Kayla is also available for freelance horse training and coaching. Trailer-ins are welcome, and she has opened a few new training spots going into the fall.

🏗️ Indoor Horse Boarding – New Stalls Coming Soon

Southward Stables is growing! New stalls are currently being built, and we’re excited to soon be able to offer stalls an another option for horse boarding. This expansion means we’ll have room for new boarders heading into the fall and winter.
