āœ”ļø Kept horses cozy by adding fresh straw to all of our outdoor shelters

āœ”ļø Started prepping for spring events and show season

Project Pony for Sale – Meet Cam!

Cam is a just under 12HĀ and looking for his next home.

ree

He’s an easy keeper, up to date on everything, and great for the farrier and deworming. While he’s been ridden at a walk, jog, and lope, he hasn’t been in consistent work, so he’s being sold as green. He can be a little pushy when not handled regularly, but has great potential for someone willing to put in the time!

Cam is partially blind in one eyeĀ from a weanling injury (doesn’t affect him!)

Know someone looking for their next pony project? Reach out for more details!

🌱 Heading into Spring – Tips for Your Barn & Horse

With warmer weather (finally) on the way, now’s the time to start spring prepĀ for both your barn and your horse. Here are some key things to check off your list:

For Your Horse:

āœ”ļø Slowly increase workloadĀ to get them legged up for the season

āœ”ļø Check deworming schedulesĀ and talk to your vet about spring vaccinations

āœ”ļø Start transitioning feedĀ if needed—spring grass will be coming soon

For the Barn:

āœ”ļø Declutter tack rooms—clean out what you don’t use

āœ”ļø Check fencingĀ for winter damage and make any needed repairs

āœ”ļø Deep clean stalls and trailersĀ before the muddy season hits

For Yourself:

āœ”ļø Clean and condition leather tack

āœ”ļø Check blankets for rips and waterproofing quality

āœ”ļø Make a list of anything that needs replacing before show season starts
